For a 50 minute session

NDIS clients: $193.99*
Self-managed or plan managed only.
Includes 10 minutes’ note-taking.
*Current NDIS rates for capacity building Social Work and/or early childhood intervention/support.

Private clients:
Individuals: $194.00
Couples/families: $250.00
Concession card holders: $160.00

Cancer counselling: 
May be subsidised or free, depending on your financial situation.

Medicare & insurance

Counselling and psychotherapy are not yet covered by Medicare. This has pros and cons.

One positive thing is that you don’t need a specific diagnosis or referral to become a client, and you won’t have a diagnosis listed on your medical and/or insurance record.

You may be able to get a rebate on these counselling services (please check with your fund). Additionally, my fee is less than the Medicare gap fee which some practitioners charge.
