About our logo

The ‘enso’ features in our logo. It is a powerful symbol embracing both the simple and the profound, the empty and the full. It represents one-ness and infinity – the connection of all things. It stems from a Zen Buddhist tradition.

.

Another ancient symbol echoing this shape is the ‘ouroboros’ or the snake eating its own tail. The ouroboros represents the cyclical nature of life, and appears in many cultures and traditions. Carl Jung felt it held an archetypal significance to the psyche.

.
As a therapist, I draw inspiration from all these ideas – the cycles of beginnings, transitions and endings that we all inevitably travel. And how our overlapping, interlocking stories connect us all in some indefinable way to each other and to the stuff of life itself.
